29 CFR 1910.1000(a)(2): Employees were exposed to an airborne concentration of Iron Oxide listed in Table Z-1 in excess of the 8 hour Time Weighted Average concentration of 10 milligrams per cubic meter of air: a. Polishing Room: On or about February 23, 2016, and at times prior, employees in the Polishing Room were exposed to Iron Oxide exceeding the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) of 10 milligrams per cubic meter of air while performing polishing on rifle barrels. Personal air sampling performed for 436 minutes indicated an exposure of 13.0046 milligrams per cubic meter of air, approximately 1.3 times the PEL. Zero exposure was calculated for the 44 minutes which the employee was not sampled.
