29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(D): Flexible cords and/or cables were attached to building surfaces: a) K Plant, #2 mixer scales near hopper of screw conveyor at #2 mixer, 6th and Center Streets, Tarentum, Pennsylvania 15084: Observed on or about July 28, 2015, a flexible cord (110 volt) was attached to building surfaces. The flexible cord was tied to electrical conduit at several locations along its length. Employees working in the area, including mixing operators and mechanics, were exposed to the hazards of fire and electric shock. b) K-Plant, next to man door beneath scales going to steps on #2 mixer, 6th and Center Streets, Tarentum, Pennsylvania 15084: Observed on or about July 28, 2015, a flexible cord (110 volt) was attached to building surfaces. A flexible cord used to supply power to a heat tape was tied to electrical conduit at several locations along its length. Employees working in the area, including mixing operators and mechanics, were exposed to the hazards of fire and electric shock.
