29 CFR 1926.1425(d): Receiving a load. Only employees needed to receive a load are permitted to be within the fall zone when a load is being landed. a. Located at the site, there was an employee in an aerial lift's basket who was attempting to move the aerial lift out of the mud while being within the fall zone of a 60-foot, 3-inch I-beam that was being landed by a Bucyrus Erie 60 ton lattice boom crawler crane, model 30b, serial number 134548, thereby exposing the employee to a struck-by hazard.
