29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE): On or about July 3, 2024, at General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS) facility in Hampton Arkansas, the employer did not assess the process area (Bay 1-4 of Building 11) to determine if flame resistant clothing (FRC) was necessary to protect employees from flash fire hazards associated with explosive (smoke) powder.
