29 CFR 1910.120(q)(2)(v): The emergency response plan did not address, to the extent not addressed elsewhere, site security and control: a) Production Floor: On or about August 22, 2023, and times prior, the employer exposed employees to chemical hazards, in that the employer has not provided an effective site control program for employees conducting hazardous waste cleanup for chemicals, such as but not limited to, Phosphoric Acid, Caustic Soda, and Sulfuric Acid. b) Production Area near Holding Tanks; On or about August 22, 2023, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to chemical and slip hazards, in that employees are required to clean chemical spills without isolating the hazardous chemical prior to cleaning the spill. The chemicals, which are the most common to spill are Phosphoric Acid, Caustic Soda, and Sulfuric Acid.
