29 CFR 1910.133(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injuries light radiation: Mixing Department: On or about November 14, 2021 and times prior, the employer did not ensure that tandem mixer operators operating mixers, such as the Line 21 tandem mixer, wore eye protection to protect against projectile ingredient particles released from the mixer throat areas during pressure release events.
