29 CFR 1926.452(c)(2): Frames and panels were not braced by cross, horizontal, or diagonal braces, or combination thereof, which would secure vertical members together laterally, and the cross braces were not of such length as would automatically square. a) Worksite, 57 Glenmore Ave, Montauk NY, West Side of Building - Employees performing cedar shake siding installation work from a 4-tier fabricated frame scaffold approximately 20-feet above the ground which did not have crossbracing on the third and fourth tier of the fabricated frame scaffold to prevent the scaffolding from swaying and becoming displaced; on of about 01/24/2020. Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification of documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.
