29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure. On or about October 22, 2018, and at times prior there to, in the process production area, the employer used an extension cord as a substitute for fixed wiring to energize the heat strip to keep transmitter reading correctly exposing employees to electrical shock hazards.
