29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6): The employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace is labeled, tagged or marked with the product identifier and words, pictures, symbols, or combination thereof, which provide at least general information regarding the hazards of the chemicals, and which, in conjunction with the other information immediately available to employees under the hazard communication program, will provide employees with the specific information regarding the physical and health hazards of the hazardous chemical: The employer is failing to protect employees from chemical hazards while employees are placing chemicals in the fire cabinet. This was most recently documented at the jobsite located at 3801 S Oliver Street, Building 3-187S, Wichita Kansas. A chemical storage cabinet in the maintenance area held three unlabeled one-gallon silver cans which contained an unknown chemical.
