29 CFR 1910.263(l)(9)(ii): All safety devices on the oven(s) were not inspected at intervals of not less than twice a month by a properly instructed bakery employee: On or about February 24, 2017, at the above addressed jobsite, employees were operating commercial bakery natural gas ovens, which where a component of a bagel machine, and a loaf cake machine, and a round cake machine, for which the employer did not ensure that all safety devices on the ovens were inspected at intervals of not less than twice a month by an especially appointed, properly instructed bakery employee, and not less than once a year by representatives of the oven manufacturer(s), therefore exposing the employees to fire/explosive hazards. NOTE: CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
