29 CFR 1910.303(b)(7)(i): Unused openings in boxes, raceways, auxiliary gutters, cabinets, equipment cases, or housings shall be effectively closed to afford protection substantially equivalent to the wall of the equipment. a. Inspection Area, West Wall - On or about January 27, 2017, employees were exposed to electrical shock hazards of approximately 120 Volts, in that electrical boxes used for machinery operations had openings which were not effectively closed to water intrusion.
