29 CFR 1926.65(e)(2): The training did not thoroughly cover the elements listed in 29 CFR 1926.65(e)(2)(i) through (e)(2)(vii): (a) On and after 01/18/2016, at GE Power, Building 5, Areas 3 East and 4 East, for the laborers removing debris by hand and using HEPA vacuums and mercury vacuums to remove hazardous materials such as, but not limited to, elemental mercury, soil contaminated with mercury and wood contaminated with mercury. The employer did not train employees on topics including but not limited to safe work practices, safe use of engineering controls and medical surveillance requirements.
