29 CFR 1910.213(i)(1): Nonworking portion(s) of the blade of bandsaw(s) were not enclosed or guarded: a.) On or about March 31, 2015, the Kent Saw #1 in the manufacturing area used to cut wood was not properly guarded. Employees were exposed to 7 inches of unused portion of the saw blade when operating the equipment. b.) On or about March 31, 2015, the Kent Saw #2 in the manufacturing area used to cut wood was not properly guarded. Employees were exposed to 6 inches of unused portion of the saw blade when operating the equipment.
