29 CFR 1910.134(k)(1): The employer did not provide respirator training that would ensure each employee could demonstrate knowledge of items in section (i)-(vii): a). On or about 12/3/14, an Adecco employee working at The Skydyne Company, Port Jervis, NY, in the assembly area. The employee is required to don an N95 respirator when buffing metal cases. The employer did not implement respiratory protection training. b). On or about 12/3/14, a Here's Help employee working at The Skydyne Company, Port Jervis, NY, in the paint/mold area. The employee is required to don a moldex N95 respirator when molding cases. The employer did not implement respiratory protection training. c). On or about 7/20/14, a Skydyne employee working at The Skydyne Company, Port Jervis, NY, in the dip tank area. The employee is required to don a 1/2/ mask respirator when adding acids/corrosives to the dip tanks. The employer did not implement respiratory protection training.
