29 CFR 1910.305(a)(2)(x):Flexible cords and cables were not protected from accidental damage, as might be caused, for example, by sharp corners, projections, and doorways or other pinch points: a.) Durable Corporation on or about October 13, 2021, at the address of 75 N. Pleasant St. N. Norwalk, OH: The employer failed to follow manufactures warning label prohibiting placement of objects on extension cords. Employees using flexible cords with loaded pallets sitting upon them to power fans and tools were exposed to electrical burns and fire hazards associated with cords overheating and damaged.
