29 CFR 1910.272(m)(2): The employer did not promptly correct dust collection systems in the grain handling facility which were malfunctioning or operating below designed efficiency: Employees working in and/or near grain elevator were exposed to struck-by hazards, caught-in hazards, hazardous energies, fire and explosion hazards. The employer did not follow the manufacturers' preventive maintenance of the dust collection systems schedules, nor were the employer's preventive maintenance of the dust collection systems schedules consistently in order to correct dust collection systems followed for equipment such as, but not limited to: a) Main Fans; b) Airlocks on Filter Hoppers and Cyclones; c) Legs Laminar Flows, and; d) Ductwork Systems.
