29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: a) Laminate Dept., on or about 6/20/17: Extension cord providing current to a laminate slitter was strung overhead and being used as permanent wiring. b) Countertop Joining Area, on or about 6/20/17: A power strip outlet providing current to two Lasko fans was being used as permanent wiring. c) Small Laminate, Glue Booth, on or about 6/20/17: A power strip outlet providing current to a Porter Cable router and a box fan was being used as permanent wiring. d) Laminate Dept., Sink cutout section, on or about 6/20/17: A power strip outlet and an extension cord providing current to a DeWalt cutoff saw were strung along the wall and being used as permanent wiring. e) CNC Dept., on or about 6/29/17: A duplex receptacle outlet with a flexible cord attached powering a floor fan was being used as permanent wiring. f) CNC Dept., on or about 6/29/17: An extension cord providing current to a County Line floor fan was strung overhead and being used as permanent wiring.
