29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: On or about January 29, 2025, the employer did not provide effective information and training on the hazardous chemicals in their work area when employees in the Coil Room and Paint Room were exposed to chemicals including, but not limited to, Polane Machine Tool Finisher Primer-Sealer Gray, Polane T Polyurethane Enamel Carbide Black, Industrial Wash Primer Green, and Wash Primer Catalyst Reducer, 3M Scotchkote Electrical Coating FD, Evercoat Body Shop Body Filler, 3M Scotch-Weld Epoxy Adhesive 2214 Regular, and Klean Strip Lacquer Thinner.
