29 CFR 1926.1153(i)(1): The employer did not ensure that each employee is trained in accordance with the provisions of HCS and paragraph (i)(2) of this section: (a) Former Hotel Property at 677 Roosevelt Road, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 - On or about December 20th, 2024, Concrete Construction Company did not ensure that employees received information and training on the health hazards associated with exposure to respirable crystalline silica. Employees were exposed to respirable crystalline silica while performing and working adjacent to the demolition of silica containing concrete materials using mechanical methods. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
