29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: a) Production area, dipping/plating area; On or about August 15, 2022 and at times prior to the employer exposed employees to hazards associated with chemicals in that employees were required to work with and around corrosive chemicals such as sulfuric acid, chromium, primer, macuplex stripper, and compressed gases for welding without first being trained on the hazards associated with the chemicals in use.
