29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not ensure that Safety Data Sheets were readily accessible during each work shift to employees when they were in their work area(s) (a) On or about 12/27/19 at 350 Dewitt Avenue Brooklyn, NY 11207 employees plating bathroom hardware are exposed to hazardous chemicals including but not limited to Sulfuric acid, Hydrochloric acid 15-40%, Nitric acid 50-70% without ensuring safety data sheets were readily accessible. (b) On or about 12/27/19 at 350 Dewitt Avenue Brooklyn, NY 11207 employees spraying hardware in the spray booth area use hazardous chemicals including but not limited to Toluene 25 wt%, Xylene 25 wt%, and Ethyl acetate 15wt% without ensuring safety data sheets were readily accessible. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT CERTIFICATION OF ABATEMENT FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY MAY RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY.
