29 CFR 1910.178(q)(7): Industrial trucks were not examined before being placed in service: On or about May 29, 2018, and at times prior to, employees were exposed to struck-by hazards when the forklifts and safety related parts were not inspected and replaced prior to use: a)Komatsu forklift back up alarm was not working b)Komatsu forklift back lights were not working b)Toyota back up alarm and lights were not working c)Toyota forklift seat belt was broken and inoperable In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
