29 CFR 1910.1025(i)(4)(ii): Lunchroom facilities for employees exposed to lead in excess of the permissible exposure limit (PEL), without regard to the use of respirators, were not provided with a temperature controlled, positive pressure, filtered air supply: a) Patco Area, Strip and Wash Building, on or about 12/1/15: An employee MIG welding the undercarriage of a rail car was exposed to 173 micrograms per cubic meter of lead as an 8-hr. time weighted average (TWA), 3.5 times the permissible exposure limit (PEL) of 50 micrograms per cubic meter, during the 415 minute sampling period. A zero increment was included for the 65 minutes not sampled. The employer failed to provide a lunch room with positive pressure. Abatement documentation must be submitted for this item
