29 CFR 1910.213(h)(1): The sides of the lower exposed portion of the blade of radial saw(s) were not guarded to the full diameter of the blade by a device that automatically adjusted itself to the thickness of the stock and remained in contact with the stock throughout the cut. a) In the woodworking area: On or about August 02, 2023, and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to amputation hazards in that the employer did not install guards for the lower portion of the DeWalt 12-inch radial arm saw blade.
