29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each powered industrial truck operator is competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l): UTCRAS Inc., located at 501 Highland Ave. Morton, PA: (a) UTCRAS, Machine shop, Throughout the facility: On or about January 21, 2021, the employer did not ensure that powered industrial truck operators operating powered trucks such as, but not limited to, 80 Nissan (Model: MCUG1F2F361 V) and Hyundai (Model: 25L-7A) and Mitsubishi Caterpillar (Model: GC30K1) were trained and evaluated to ensure operators have the knowledge and skills needed to operate the powered industrial truck safely.
