29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): Employer had not developed or implemented a written hazard communication program included the requirements outlined in 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(i) and (e)(1)(ii): (a) On or about 12/27/19 at 350 Dewitt Avenue Brooklyn, NY 11207 employees plating bathroom hardware are exposed to hazardous chemicals including but not limited to Sulfuric acid, Hydrochloric acid 15-40%, Nitric acid 50-70% without being provided a written hazard communication program. (b) Employees spraying hardware in the spray booth area use hazardous chemicals including but not limited to Toluene 25 wt%, Xylene 25 wt%, and Ethyl acetate 15wt% without being provided a written hazard communication program. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT CERTIFICATION OF ABATEMENT FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY MAY RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY.
