Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 009A Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.178(q)(7): Industrial trucks were not examined before being placed in service, or were placed in service if the examination showed conditions adversely affecting the safety of the vehicle: a) Atlantic Precast Concrete - On or about March 20, 2018, an employee was operating a forklift to move concrete basins around with an in operable seatbelt, exposing the employee to crush hazards. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
