29 CFR 1910.272(m)(1)(i): Preventive maintenance procedures in the grain handling facility were not implemented to provide regularly scheduled inspections of the mechanical and safety control equipment associated with dryers, grain stream processing equipment, dust collection equipment including filter collectors, and bucket elevators: Employees working in and /or near grain elevator were exposed to struck-by hazards, caught-in hazards, hazardous energies, fire and explosion hazards. The employer did not follow the manufacturers' maintenance inspection schedules, nor were the employer's inspection schedules consistently followed for equipment such as, but not limited to: a) Bucket Elevator Legs; b) Dust Collection System; c) Bucket Elevator Leg Belt Alignment Monitors/Sensors; d) Bucket Elevator Leg Bearing Monitors/Sensors; e) Bucket Elevator Leg Magnets; f) Belt Conveyer Systems; g) Control Panels Sensor Systems, and; h) Heat Sensors System.
