29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirement of this standard were being followed. On or about May 11, 2016, employer failed to conduct periodic inspections of the written lockout/tagout written procedures, that were developed in 2009 from a 3rd party contractor, to ensure employees were provided with the latest information while performing lockout/tagout activities exposing them to potentially hazardous energy such as, but not limited to, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and gravity.
