29 CFR 1910.430(b)(1): Compressors used to supply air to a diver were not equipped with all of the following: a volume tank with a check valve on the inlet side, a pressure gauge, a relief valve, and a drain valve, is applicable to the Construction Standard 29 CFR 1926.1090 which incorporates the General Industry Requirements: a) On or about January 27, 2015, at the jobsite, 1 East 11th Street - Slip 3, Riviera Beach, Florida 33404, the employer did not ensure the Dive Boss air compressor used by divers had a operable tank pressure gauge. The indicating needle of the gauge was stuck at approximately 225 pounds per square inch. b) On or about January 20, 2015, at the jobsite, 1 East 11th Street - Slip 3, Riviera Beach, Florida 33404, the employer did not ensure the Brownie air compressor, which does not have a volume tank, was being used to supply air to the divers.
