29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: On or about October 6, 2014, the employer did not provide adequate eyewash facilities in the Interiors Coatings and Exterior Paint departments for use by employees using Hempel Hempadur 15509, Carboline Plasite 4006/4006 Part B, Carboline Plasite 4006/4006 Part C, Carboline Plasite 3070 L and Sherwin Williams Nova-Plate UHS Ultra High Solids Epoxy (Part B), Standard Hardener. Employees were exposed to the hazard of contact with corrosive chemicals leading to chemical burns to the eyes and skin. a) Eyewash stations provided in the interior coatings department do not provide 15 minutes of continuous flow. b) Eyewash stations are not provided in the exterior coatings shop
