29 CFR 1910.119(g)(3): The employer did not ascertain that each employee involve d in operating a process has received and understood the training required by th is paragraph and did not develop a means to verify that the employee understood the training. This violation was observed on or about 1/19/2010, where the emplo yer does not train operators in the specific procedures required to operate the oil & gas separation process equipment located on the EC2 platform. This exposed employees to fire, explosion and highly hazardous chemicals (HHC). Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19(d), within 10 calendar days of the d ate of the citation, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is i n compliance with the standard, including describing the steps it is taking to e nsure that site-specific training in the operation of the platform is provided t o all personnel assigned to the platform.
