29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: At the worksite located at 7475 W US HWY 60, Republic, MO 65738 employees were exposed to electric shock, electrocution, and fire hazards while conducting sign manufacturing activities. The employer did not ensure that employees were protected when working with or around flexible cords and/or cables that were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure. Instances of exposure include but are not limited to: Instance 1. An extension cord used to power a fan next to the CNC Machine (router). Instance 2. An extension cord used to power the panel saw (cardboard cutter).
