Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 009 Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.350(a)(10): Oxygen cylinders in storage were not separated from fuel-gas cylinders or combustible materials (especially oil or grease), a minimum distance of 20 feet (6.1 m) or by a noncombustible barrier at least 5 feet (1.5 m) high having a fire-resistance rating of at least one-half hour: a) Old Lebanon Road, Welch Combined Elementary/Middle School, Dover AFB, DE 19902; on or about March 21, 2025, the employer did not ensure that stored oxygen and acetylene cylinders were separated with a minimum distance of 20 feet or by a noncombustible barrier of at least 5 feet. A welding cart containing oxygen and acetylene cylinders were stored outdoors for multiple days without use.
