29 CFR 1910.1025(j)(3)(i)(B): Medical examinations and consultations for lead were not performed prior to assignment for each employee being assigned for the first time to an area in which airborne concentrations of lead are at or above the action level: a. On or about July 17, 2024, an employee working on the CRT portion of the CRT/FRIT LINE was exposed to a lead dust concentration in excess of the permissible exposure limit. The employer did not ensure that all medical examinations and consultations for lead were performed prior to assignment for each employee being assigned for the first time to an area which airborne concentrations of lead are at or above the action level. b. On or about July 17, 2024, an employee working on the FRIT portion of the CRT/FRIT LINE was exposed to lead dust above the action level. The employer did not ensure that all medical examinations and consultations for lead were performed prior to assignment for each employee being assigned for the first time to an area which airborne concentrations of lead are at or above the action level. Abatement documentation is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
