29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point of operation guards were not designed and constructed as to prevent the operator from having any part of their body in the danger zone during the operating cycle: a. HK Cooperative, Inc. dba J. H. Routh Packing Company located in Sandusky Ohio: On or about December 21, 2023, the employer did not ensure the loin line band saw located in the cut department was properly guarded in that employees were exposed to contact with the unused and unguarded portion of the running blade likely to result in severe laceration when cutting pork loins.
