29 CFR 1910.146(g)(1): The employer did not provide training so all employees whose work is regulated by this section acquire the understanding, knowledge, and skills necessary for the safe performance of the duties assigned under this section: Central Paper Stock, Inc. located at 6665 Jonas Place in Berkeley, MO 63134: The employer is failing to provide confined space training to exposed employees working in confined spaces while performing maintenance, clearing a jam or cleaning machines. On or about 10/26/2021, the employer failed to provide training to each employee whose work is regulated by this section to acquire the understanding, knowledge, and skills necessary for the safe performance of the duties assigned under this section. Employees were entering permit required spaces on machines such as, but not limited to, the following: a) The large "Harris Selco" baler (Model: HLO-8221AR-150; Serial No: 39770079) on the paper side of the plant; b) The small "Harris Selco" baler (Model:L125-2-10/8 ; Serial No:08138825 ) on the paper side of the plant; c) The "Retech" book grinder (Model: RG 52; Serial No: 7739101) on the paper side of the plant; and, d) The plastic "Badger" baler (Model: BADGER L-100S-2-10/7; Serial No: 8658) on the plastic side of the plant.
