29 CFR 1910.178(m)(5)(i): A Powered industrial truck was left unattended without the load engaging means lowered, controls neutralized, and the power was not shut off. a) On the west end of the warehouse, on or about July 1, 2021, the employer failed to ensure unattended powered industrial trucks were shut down prior to employees leaving them unattended, thereby exposing employees to struck-by hazards from inadvertent activation of the drive system.
