29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A):Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: At the Office Steps to Access Room, employees engaged in maintenance activities were exposed to struck-by, fire and electrical shock hazards in that the flexible cord used to supply power to a Little Mule hoist was used in lieu of fixed wiring.
