29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv): Unless specifically permitted otherwise in paragraph (g)(1)(ii) of this section, flexible cords and cables may not be used for any of the following applications for wiring of a structure including, but not limited to, 29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A), (g)(1)(iv)(B), (g)(1)(iv)(D) and 305(g)(1)(iv)(E): On or about June 08, 2020, at 7205 S.R. 50 EAST, Groveland, FL 34736, in the old mill, employees were operating electrically powered stationary industrial machines, equipment and/or appliances, during which flexible cords and/or cables were used in prohibited applications for wiring of a structure/as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure; therefore exposing the employees to an electric shock/electrocution hazard.
