29 CFR 1915.83(c)(1): When the vessel was supplied with electric shore power, the employer did not equip each circuit to be energized with over-current protection that would not exceed the rated current-carrying capacity of the conductors, prior to energizing any of the vessel's circuits. A) Vessel "Queen Of Hearts": The employer did not ensure that each vessel supplied with electric shore power was properly grounded prior to energizing any of the vessels circuits. Condition noted on or about January 23, 2020. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
