29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries: The employer does not ensure fire extinguishers are being mounted, located and identified so that they are readily accessible without subjecting the employee to injuries as follows: a) This violation was observed on or about May 30, 2019, at the maintenance shop, first level, a fire extinguisher observed on the floor was not mounted and marked to identify its location, exposing employees to the hazard of smoke inhalation and burns. b) This violation was observed on or about May 30, 2019, at the maintenance shop, first level, a mounted fire extinguisher was not marked to identify its location, exposing employees to the hazard of smoke inhalation and burns. c) This violation was observed on or about May 30, 2019, on the second level of the maintenance shop, a fire extinguisher on the floor was not mounted and marked to identify its location, exposing employees to the hazard of smoke inhalation and burns. d) This violation was observed on or about May 30, 2019, in the carpenter shop, a fire extinguisher on the floor was not mounted and marked to identify its location, exposing employees to the hazard of smoke inhalation and burns. e) This violation was observed on or about May 30, 2019, in the Amphitheater area, a mounted fire extinguisher was not marked to identify its location, exposing employees to the hazard of smoke inhalation and burns. f) This violation was observed on or about May 30, 2019, in the Overhaul shop, a fire extinguisher was blocked by a hydraulic press and was not marked to identify its location, exposing employees to the hazard of smoke inhalation and burns. g) This violation was observed on or about May 30, 2019, in the Go Cart store room, a fire extinguisher on the floor was not mounted and marked to identify its location, exposing employees to the hazard of smoke inhalation and burns. h) This violation was observed on or about May 31, 2019, in the Bumper cars area, two mounted fire extinguishers were not marked to identify their locations, exposing employees to the hazard of smoke inhalation and burns. i) This violation was observed on or about May 31, 2019, in Fort Frontier, a fire extinguisher was not marked for its location, exposing employees to the hazard of smoke inhalation and burns. j) This violation was observed on or about June 3, 2019, at Renegade Rapids bottom operator station, a mounted fire extinguisher was not marked for its location, exposing employees to the hazard of smoke inhalation and burns. k) This violation was observed on or about June 3, 2019, in Renegade Rapids top operator station, a mounted fire extinguisher was not marked for its location, exposing employees to the hazard of smoke inhalation and burns. l) This violation was observed on or about June 3, 2019, at Timber Town, a mounted fire extinguisher was not marked for its location, exposing employees to the hazard of smoke inhalation and burns. m) This violation was observed on or about June 3, 2019, in the north games storage area, a mounted fire extinguisher was blocked by boxes of stored material and was not marked for its location, exposing employees to the hazard of smoke inhalation and burns. n) This violation was observed on or about June 3, 2019, in the south games storage area, a mounted fire extinguisher was not marked for its location, exposing employees to the hazard of smoke inhalation and burns. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation describing the steps taken to ensure portable fire extinguishers are mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible.
