29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards of the underside conveyor belts, such as those created by ingoing nip points of the belt idler rollers and the rotating belt; a) On or about 04/05/18 at the Iron City Lackawanna site; employees were exposed to caught between hazards of the ingoing nip point created by the rotating conveyor belt and the belt idler rollers when they were as close 2-3 inches from these areas on the underside of the first conveyor off the crusher ( Lippmann 60x35 foot mobile conveyor serial # 2007-10186 ) that were open and without guarding ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED
