29 CFR 1910.1025(j)(1)(i): A medical surveillance program was not instituted for all employee(s) who were, or could be exposed to lead above the action level for more than thirty days per year: 900 Jeffco Executive Drive, Imperial: Employer is exposing employees to hazardous conditions. The employees who are exposed to lead above the permissible exposure limit of 50 micrograms per cubic meter of air are not provided a medical surveillance program. On 11/07/2017 an employee who was the "trainer" was exposed to airborne lead at twice the permissible exposure limit (PEL) of 50 micrograms of lead per cubic meter of air as determined by personal air sampling conducted by OSHA. The exposure level obtained was 110 micrograms of air borne lead per cubic meter of air calculated on 8-hour time weighted average basis. Sampling was conducted for 306 minutes. The employee was not provided a medical surveillance program.
