29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(iv): The details of the hazard communication program developed by the employer, did not include an explanation of the labels received on shipped containers and the workplace labeling system used by their employer; the safety data sheet, including the order of information and how employee could obtain and use the appropriate hazard information: a) Throughout facility: The employer did not provide training on the revised hazard communication regulation that includes the global harmonization system of labeling and the format of the safety data sheet. Employees use chemicals, such as, but not limited to, Slide Acid Vapor Neutralizer (a corrosive chemical), Slide Mold Cleaner Plus Degreaser 4, PPE Step Two Metal Protection, PPE Step One Acid Neutralizer and Dehydrator, Slide Mold Release and Pin Lube, WD-40 and denatured alcohol, on or about 9/13/17. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
