29 CFR 1910.219(f)(3): Sprockets and chains which were seven feet or less above floors or platforms were not enclosed. a) Drum Tumbler: On or about August 9, 2017, and at times prior, the employer exposed the employees to caught-in hazards in that the guard was not installed on the sprocket and chain located on the motor for the drum tumbler that is at ground level. b) Ribbon Blender: On or about August 9, 2017, and at times prior, the employer exposed the employees to caught-in hazards in that the guard was not installed on the sprocket and chain on the motor. c) Cone Mixer: On or about August 9, 2017, and at times prior, the employer exposed the employees to caught-in hazards in that the guard was not installed on the sprocket and chain located on the top of the mixer as the employees are working loading feed or cleaning the cone mixer.
