29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(B): Affected employees were not instructed in the purpose and use of the energy control procedure: (a) On or about July 7, 2016, the employer failed to instruct affected employees in the purpose and use of the energy control procedure. Employees working in the fittings department are exposed to caught in and electric shock hazards in that affected employees have not received training/instruction related to energy control procedures pertaining to the Elbow Machines, and automatic and manual Iowa Precision Collar Machines and/or awareness of those procedures. Abatement certification is required for this item; use the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET for this purpose.
