29 CFR 1926.1101(h)(3)(iv)(A): The employer did not provide employees with a tight-fitting powered air-purifying respirator operated in the pressure-demand mode and equipped with either HEPA egress cartridges or an auxiliary positive-pressure self-contained breathing apparatus, whenever the employees were in regulated area performing Class I asbestos work for which a negative exposure assessment was not available and the exposure assessment indicated that the exposure level will be at or below 1 fiber per cubic centimeter as an 8-hour time weighted average: On or about April 20, 2016, employees wore elastomeric half mask respirator and full face respirators while performing Class I asbestos removal prior to a negative asbestos exposure assessment.
