29 CFR 1910.213(g)(1): Swing cutoff saw(s) were not provided with an automatically adjusting hood that completely enclosed the upper half of the saw, the arbor end, and the point of operation at all positions of the saw: (a) Sawmill: On or about October 21, 2015, and times prior, an employee uses a 32 inch cutoff saw that has a 17 inch by 30 inch portion of the blade unguarded and exposed on the lower side, and the saw is pulled 2 inches past the conveyor toward the employee while holding and cutting 1 inch by 8 inch to 7 inch by 9 inch boards, scrap wood, and bark.
