29 CFR 1926.1060(a): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee using ladders and stairways, as necessary, which would enable each employee to recognize hazards related to ladders and stairways and train each employee in the procedures to be followed to minimize these hazards: a- Building 25, Creekside Way, Burlington Township NJ: On or about 07/16/15 a company employee was exposed to fall hazards when using an aluminum extension ladder that was missing both of its feet, contained visibly damaged rungs, and was missing the pull rope for the ladder's fly section. This employee had not received ladder hazard recognition training from the company. Condition noted on or about 07/16/15. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
